About Us
The Delta San Francisco Peninsula Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1999, created to provide scholarships to deserving high school seniors from San Francisco and the San Francisco peninsula. The Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for students in the San Francisco-Peninsula area, by supporting programs that foster educational growth.
Scholarships are awarded for four years of undergraduate studies for the purpose of motivating students to attend college. Students must meet the eligibility criteria , which include intellectual promise, good work habits, high character, and financial need.
The Foundation has successfully raised more than $200,000, and has established the Winfred Burks-Houcks and Evelyn Banks-Neely Award.
